I live in South Staffordshire England and married my wife, Angela, in the late 60’s. We have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. I started my work career in telecoms and electronics and after graduating moved into Production Management. I then progressed into Engineering Systems and spent the last 20 years of my career as an Engineering Systems and Management Consultant. I was fortunate enough to retire in my mid 50’s and this afforded me the opportunity of spending more time on my keyboard.
I’ve always had a keen interest in music. As a youngster my father taught me to play the cornet and we played together in the Rolls Royce Brass Band in Derby. Then as a teenager in the sixties I had a rock group playing gigs around Derby and Nottingham. It wasn’t until my early 50’s that I decided to teach myself the keyboard. This was not an easy task as I had never had any formal music training. I’ve always tried my hand at composing but learning the keyboard was like opening Pandora’s Box because now I could also try orchestrating and arranging.
I have to thank Bill for giving me this space on his Web site so I can bring to you some of my compositions. I hope you like these samples and along with the sheet music try your hand at producing your own versions of my songs.
